“The Fairy Feller’s Masterstroke” Lost Vagueness Festival, 2005.

← Back to the Portfolio

This painting was originally painted by Richard Daad between 1855 and 1864 when he was in the Bethlem Royal Hospital for murdering his father. Shakespeare’s Oberon and Titania appear in the picture while the rest of the figures come from the artists imagnation. I re-created it at the Lost Vaguness Festival in Lewes, a particulaly surreal festival.

Thanks to Adonis Christodoulou for being my assistant.
